The main tasks of the medical point are:

  • Providing primary medical care to students and college staff, as well as conducting preventive measures.
  • In accordance with its goals and objectives, the medical point performs:

  • Emergency and first pre-medical aid in case of injuries, acute illnesses, and poisonings;
  • Development and implementation of preventive and health-improving measures;
  • Maintaining medical record-keeping and reporting documentation;
  • Promoting sanitary and hygienic knowledge and a healthy lifestyle;
  • The medical point actively participates in and takes full responsibility for all medical activities conducted within the educational organization. It requires newly admitted applicants to provide form 063 (preventive vaccination card) and form 086/u medical certificate.

    Develops a schedule for preventive vaccinations;

    Promotes the basics of a healthy lifestyle among young people, implements preventive measures against smoking, alcohol consumption, drug use, and other psychoactive substances, and encourages increased physical activity. Conducts activities for the prevention of HIV/AIDS, skin and venereal diseases, and other infectious and parasitic diseases.

    Annual planned medical examinations are conducted among students and college staff, including fluorographic examinations and preventive vaccinations.

    The targeted work of the medical point allows for the implementation of strategic objectives aimed at preserving students' health.

    General Provisions

    The college's pre-medical office provides medical support for students and employees of the educational organization, ensures the provision of primary pre-medical care, and carries out preventive and health education activities.

    The activities of the pre-medical office are organized in accordance with the current sanitary and epidemiological requirements, regulatory legal acts, and methodological recommendations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

    Main Tasks of the Pre-medical Office

    • Providing primary pre-medical care to students and college employees in case of acute conditions and injuries;
    • Monitoring the health status of students;
    • Participation in preventive medical examinations and vaccinations;
    • Conducting health education work among students;
    • Implementation of measures for the prevention of infectious diseases;
    • Monitoring compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms and requirements in the college.

    Types of Medical Care Provided

    • Measuring body temperature and blood pressure;
    • First pre-medical aid for injuries, ailments, and fainting;
    • Observation of students in case of worsening health during their stay at the college;
    • Referring students to healthcare professionals when medically indicated;
    • Participation in preventive measures and actions aimed at health preservation and improvement.
