Anti-corruption activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK) are an important element of state policy aimed at increasing the transparency and accountability of all levels of government and business. In recent decades, Kazakhstan has taken a number of steps to fight corruption, both at the level of legislation and within the framework of practical measures to combat corruption manifestations in various spheres. One of the key initiatives was the creation of anti-corruption bodies, such as the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption, which is engaged in investigating and preventing corruption crimes. The legislation of the RK in this area is regularly updated, including the adoption of special laws, such as the Law on Combating Corruption, which was adopted to implement policies oriented towards zero tolerance for corruption.
