The Constitutional Law on the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted on June 4, 2007. According to this Law, June 4 is celebrated as the Day of State Symbols in Kazakhstan. State symbols are an integral attribute of any country's sovereignty and unity. The State Flag, State Emblem, and State Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan are considered state symbols.

STATE EMBLEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is circular in shape and features a shanyrak (the upper dome of a yurt) against a blue background, surrounded by sun rays. On the right and left sides are legendary winged horses. At the top is a five-pointed star, and at the bottom is the inscription "Kazakhstan." The star, shanyrak, winged horses, and the inscription are depicted in gold.

STATE FLAG OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a rectangular blue cloth with a sun and a soaring eagle depicted in the center. On the left side, a vertical strip with a national ornament is present. The sun, its rays, the eagle, and the ornament are all in gold color.

STATE ANTHEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The State Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, previously known as "My Kazakhstan," was approved by Parliament on January 6, 2006, at the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. It was first performed during the President's inauguration on January 11, 2006.
