College History

History of the college (formerly - Professional Technical School No. 16 of Aktobe) starts in 1974. Following the order of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR for vocational education dated July 10, 1974, No. 136 and the order of the regional department of vocational education dated August 22, 1974, No. 119. Professional Technical School No. 16 was opened on the basis of the construction trust "Aktubstroy".

In 1996, Professional Technical School No. 16 was transformed into Professional Technical School No. 16. According to the order of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 22, 1996, No. 154 "On reorganization of institutions and educational organizations".

In 2011, Professional Technical School No. 16 was transformed into a professional lyceum and received the status of Professional Lyceum No. 16. According to the Decree of the Akimat of Aktobe region dated December 29, 2011, No. 466.

In 2013, Professional Lyceum No. 16 was transformed into "Aktobe Construction and Technical College". Following the order of the health department of Aktobe region dated May 15, 2013, No. 191 "On renaming of organizations and institutions".

Since 2021, the educational process in our college has been directly following the international WorldSkills standards. Training is conducted in 11 specialties, 4 programs, which include categories like: "Construction production and operation of buildings and structures", "Installation and operation of internal sanitary-technical devices, ventilation and engineering systems", "Furniture production", "Operation of treatment facilities", "Electronic engineering", "Graphic design and computer graphics", etc.
